When you go to a gym and look around what do you normally see? The big guy lifting heavy weights, or maybe the fit, tone woman barely lifting anything? For most beginners it is hard to make sense of it all. You just want to go to the gym, workout, and achieve the body you have always desired, and that will work for a little while, but when you get to that plateau you will se that having to change up your workout routines and nutrition will get you to that next level.
First, I want to talk a little about how people do not take into account just how important what goes into your body shows. Ever heard of the saying “you are what you eat”? Well that could not be more true. Nutrition is one of the single most important parts of a body transformation. Just like I said before, when you are first starting out cardio and weight training will help, but it will not get you to your final destination.
Next, I would like to talk a little about weight training specifically. People always say to be stronger you have to lift heavier and if you want to tone your muscles then you lift less weight with more repetitions. Studies have shown that this is not always true. This article shows just how important different types of training can be.
Any physical body goal that you want to reach takes dedication and consistency. Above that you have to put the work in and keep on a consistent diet. You know your body’s limits, be sure you strive to increase them.
